Okay. I've joined the forces of "blogging". I admit this is a great way to communicate to everyone at once. So come back and listen to my story as often as you want.
Notice my title? Yup. That me. Retired in Arizona. Just a lil ol' California girl living out here in the desert. Today is truly the end of summer for us. The air conditioner is off, the windows open and a great breeze flowing through the house. Who could ask for more?
I'm preparing my lesson for tomorrow's class entitled "How to Create Digital Photos". The college advertised the class that way. I'm stepping in to teach the one day class. So I just made up what I thought that would entail.

Born and raised in California, I decided to retire early to enjoy life and take advantage of the crazy housing market. So here I am. Keeping as busy as I want. Waiting for school breaks to see the grandkids and feeling very blessed for those opportunites.

Hey Cali Girl! So sorry to hear about your sister. I know that in spite of the differences of opinion you had over the years that you really loved her. And God is showing that love in those beautiful flowers you're managing to grow in the middle of nowhere. So keep working on them, girl.
I also didn't know you were teaching. Whatcha teachin, kid? Has to be something with computers, knowing you. So happy to hear you're doing so well. Keep up the bloggin and I'll try to check in from time to time when I can get time away from work. Some day maybe I'll be able to retire, too. Sounds great! So love to you and the old fart, too.
